Step by step instructions to upload a file to your records request
Sometimes depending on your request you may need to provide additional documentation in order for the agency to fulfill your request. If this happens you can upload a document to your request in a few different ways. By default any documents you upload will not be visible to the public, however the organization can choose to release those documents if/when they publish the request.

- Sign in to your account
- Navigate to the request
- Click the Add Document icon (paperclip) in the upper right hand corner:

New page: - In the window that appears, you can either drag and drop files into the space provided or click into the space to select files from your device
- Select the file(s) you would like to upload
- Click the Save button. The document(s) have now been added to your request.

Please note that in order to upload a document while submitting a request you will first need to be logged in to your account. If this is your first time submitting a request this will happen automatically after you submit and you can follow the steps above to upload your document(s).
- Sign in to your account
- Click Make Request
- Enter your request description and any required fields
- Click the Choose File(s) button:
- In the window that appears, you can either drag and drop files into the space provided or click into the space to select files from your device
- Select the file(s) you would like to upload
- Click the Save button. The document(s) have now been added to your request.
- Click the Submit button to submit your request to the agency
Steps to upload a file to your request via email
Please note that image files (.jpg, .img, .png, .gif, etc.) cannot be uploaded via email at this time. Please follow the steps outlined in the instructions above to upload image files
- Locate an email related to the request in your email inbox, this should include the Request ID # in the subject line. It will look similar to the image below:
- Reply to the email and attach the non-image file you wish to upload. You can include a message to agency staff as well if needed.
