Downloading a Requests Report

Can I run a report about the requests I have access to?

You can create and run a report about all or a subset of the requests you have access to. You can create a report for a one-time download as either a CSV or XLSX file, or save the report to run at a later time.

There are two ways to customize what request data is included in a report:

  • By request: you can use the search and filter options on the left-hand side of the All Requests index to determine what requests are included in the report (corresponding to rows on the report). You will need to apply the requester filters each time you run the report

  • By field: when creating the report you will have the option to choose which fields are included (corresponding to columns on the report). You can choose to save your selected fields as a canned report to run at any time.

How to create and run a requests report

When creating a requests report you have the option of running it once or saving it as a canned report to run at any time. The selected request fields will be saved in the canned report, however any filters applied to the requests included will have to be applied each time the request is run

Steps for creating a requests report

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click the ALL REQUESTS link in the header
  3. (Optional) Filter the request list so it only shows the requests that you want to export data for. For information about the different filters and search options click here.
  4. Click the RUN REPORT button
  5. Select the fields you would like to include in the report
  6. Select whether you would like to run the report once or save it to run later:
    • To run the report without saving, click the RUN button
    • To run the report and save it for later, enter a Report Name in the box and click SAVE REPORT AND RUN
  7. Download the report:
    • Click the DOWNLOAD (.CSV) button to download the report as a CSV file
    • Click the DOWNLOAD (.XLSX) button to download the report as a XLSX file

 

How to run a saved requests report

A saved report will contain only the request fields that were included when the report was saved. If you want to run the saved report on only a subset of requests, you will need to apply any filters and searches before opening the Report menu

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click the ALL REQUESTS link in the header
  3. (Optional) Filter the request list so it only shows the requests that you want to export data for. For information about the different filters and search options click here.
  4. Click the RUN REPORT button
  5. Click the Saved Reports tab
  6. Click the RUN button next to the report that you want to run
  7. Download the report:
    • Click DOWNLOAD (.CSV) to download the report as a CSV file
    • Click DOWNLOAD (.XLSX) to download the report as a XLSX file

 

How to update a requests report

Steps for updating a requests report

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click the ALL REQUESTS link in the header
  3. Click the RUN REPORT button
  4. Click the Saved Reports tab
  5. Click the Edit icon () next to the report you want to edit
  6. Make any changes to the selected fields and/or the report name
  7. Click the SAVE button

 

How to delete a requests report

Steps for deleting a requests report

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click the ALL REQUESTS link in the header
  3. Click the RUN REPORT button
  4. Click the Saved Reports tab
  5. Click the Delete icon () next to the report you want to delete
  6. Click OK
